Many organisations evaluate the value of information and communication technology (ICT) at the point of decision making. After decision making and implementation the value of the then operational ICT is not considered anymore. What problems restrain organisations to do this? What methods and models exist to support them? And can a method be developed to help organisations to manage the value of operational ICT and to align it with corporate strategies?
This research tries to provide an answer to all these questions resulting in a method for the alignment of operational ICT.
Rick Klompé (1971) studied Technical Informatics at the Faculty Of Technical Mathematics and Informatics of the Delft University of Technology. From 1995 till 2001 he worked as consultant in the field of ICT management. Now, Rick has the position of senior auditor at KPN Audit.
